The 5th Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs Awards Ceremony was grandly held simultaneously in Hong Kong and Macao on August 27, 2024, with 126 award-winning young entrepreneurs receiving congratulations from leaders of the three jurisdictions and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong.

Dr. Choi noted that with strong support from the three governments, the Alliance has consecutively organized the Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs Awards for five years, recognizing over 400 young pioneers in the Bay Area's development. This year's 126 awardees were selected through rigorous evaluation from more than 1,300 applicants. He highlighted that these entrepreneurs represent diverse industries but share the common distinction of incorporating new productive forces such as digital economy, green economy, and artificial intelligence into their businesses. The awardees include executives and founders from leading Chinese and international enterprises like Huawei, Hyundai Motor, Toray Industries, Deloitte, and Mahua FunAge, who are driving forces in the Bay Area's comprehensive reform and high-quality development.
