The alliance hosted the performance of "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains at the Forbidden City" in Hong Kong.
The year 2022 marked the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland and the opening of the Hong Kong Palace Museum. On the evening of December 13, 2022, the cultural event "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains at the Forbidden City" was held at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. The event was jointly organized by the Jonathan Choi Foundation, the Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the International Confucian Association, the Beijing Palace Museum, and the Hong Kong Palace Museum.

"A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" is one of China's ten most renowned ancient paintings and has been exhibited only five times at the Beijing Palace Museum since the founding of the People's Republic, making it an invaluable national treasure. In his speech, Dr. Jonathan Choi, a Standing Committee member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, Chairman of the Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and Chairman of the Choi Kai Yuen Foundation, expressed his hope that this event would celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return, promote China's outstanding traditional culture, and leverage Hong Kong's role as a bridge connecting China and the world to build a world-class platform for cultural and artistic exchange, telling China's and Hong Kong's stories well.

The event began with a video recording of the sixth movement of the large-scale original symphony "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains", performed by the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, displayed on a giant screen.

Following a video excerpt from the grand dance drama "The Origin of Dunhuang", presented by the Hong Kong Dance Federation, young Hong Kong artist Jocelyn Choi performed "The Flying Apsara Hearing the Dharma", a new solo dance choreographed by renowned dancer Chen Lei specifically for this event, making its debut.
