The development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a national strategy personally devised, personally planned and personally driven by President Xi Jinping.

During his inspection tour of Guangdong in April, 2023, President Xi once again emphasized GBA holds strategic importance in the country's new development pattern. The bay area must be developed as a strategic fulcrum of the new development pattern, a demonstration zone of high-quality development and a pioneer of Chinese modernization,

As one of the most open and economically vibrant regions in China, GBA, which consists of Hong Kong, Macao, and nine cities in Guangdong Province, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, and Zhaoqing, plays a strategic role in the overall development of the country.

Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Aliance(GBA Aliance) was inaugurated in Qianhai, Shenzhen in 2017.
In response to the national strategic, GBA Aliance has brought together major chambers of commerce and federations of industry and commerce in GBA, and Chinese General chambers of commerce and enterprises all over the world, covering most areas of industries from tradition to innovation. It is committed to developing a consortium of business elites, and creating a world-class cluster and a new platform for high-level openness and economic cooperation in GBA.
