ReturnOn September 17, Dr. Jonathan Choi, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and Chairman of Sunwah Group, was invited to attend the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo and delivered a speech at the Vietnam Trade, Investment and Science & Technology Cooperation Promotion Conference.
Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Vice Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam; Jiao Yahui, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People's Government; Le Trung Ho, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province, Vietnam; and Vu Ba Phu, Director General of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, along with more than 300 representatives from both countries' governments, trade and investment institutions, chambers of commerce and industry, industrial parks, and enterprises, attended the conference. They conducted in-depth exchanges on trade and investment, technological innovation, industrial synergy, smart logistics, and industrial and supply chain cooperation.
During the event, a number of key China-Vietnam cooperation projects were signed in a centralized signing ceremony. Among them, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency signed a Memorandum of Understanding on trade promotion cooperation with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and Sunwah Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Guangxi Xianzhu Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangxi Liuzhou Pharmaceutical Group.
The conference also featured thematic promotions, enterprise sharing sessions, roundtable exchanges, and concurrent B2B business matchmaking.
