ReturnFrom 28 July to 2 August, Mr. John Lee, Chief Executive of HKSAR, led a delegation to visit Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Dr. Jonathan Choi participated in Mr. John Lee's official visit with 30 Hong Kong political and business leaders to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 31 July to 2 August.
At a symposium chaired by Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and Mr. John Lee, speaking on behalf of the CGCC, Dr. Choi stressed the close cooperation between Vietnam and HK. Dr. Choi also attended the CE's media meeting in Ho Chi Minh.
