January 4, 2026, Kunming – The "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Entrepreneurs Alliance Matchmaking Conference to Empower Yunnan Enterprises' Global Expansion" was successfully held in Kunming. The event was co-organized by the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance and the Office of Hong Kong and Macao Affairs of the Yunnan Provincial Government.

On December 30, 2025, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC), the Bohai Rim Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, visited the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Secretariat in Nanning. Dr. Choi held discussions with Secretary-General Wang Jicai on strengthening cooperation and deepening youth exchanges between China and ASEAN.
