On October 28, 2024, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) successfully elected the new chairman . Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, was re-elected as the 54th Chairman.

Promote deep cooperation between Cambodian and Guangdong Hong Kong Macao entrepreneurs

On July 21, 2022, the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneur Alliance and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Economic and Trade Office in Thailand jointly held a luncheon in Phnom Penh titled "Hong Kong Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and Cambodia Partnership Towards a New Level". Dr. Tsai delivered a keynote speech on "The Latest Development of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area". The Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneur Alliance, the Cambodian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Cambodian Chinese Association of Hong Kong Macao Overseas Chinese Merchants, the Cambodian Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce, and the Cambodian Chinese Council are joint organizers of the event. More than 200 government, diplomatic, business, venture capital firms, and business associations representatives from Cambodia, mainland China, Hong Kong, and multiple countries and regions attended the event.

The inaugural Greater Bay Area China-Japan Entrepreneurs Summit was held in Guangzhou

On 29th October, the 50th anniversary celebration of the normalization of Sino-Japanese diplomatic relations cum the inaugural Great Bay Area China-Japan Entrepreneurs Summit was held in Guangzhou. Over 80 representatives from Japanese companies and more than 100 Chinese delegates attended the event.
