The 6th Greater Bay Area OYE Awards Honor 79 Young Talents; Dr. Jonathan Choi Highlights New Quality Productive Forces as Driver of High-Quality Development in the Bay Area.

On September 22, the 6th Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs(OYE) Awards Ceremony was held simultaneously in Hong Kong, Macao, and Shenzhen. Organized by the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance, the event received strong support from the governments, universities, chambers of commerce, and media across the three regions. It aims to recognize the contributions of young entrepreneurs in the development of the Greater Bay Area and promote regional integration and high-quality growth. Over 1,200 applications were received, with 79 young entrepreneurs awarded in five categories, including Best Startup and Best Technological Innovation.

On September 17, 2025, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC) and Sunwah Group, led a delegation of 200 entrepreneurs to attend the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo held in Nanning.

On September 12, 2025, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Vice President of the China Overseas Friendship Association, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC), the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, visited Guangxi University. Dr. Choi held discussions on cooperation in discipline development, joint talent cultivation, industry-academia-research project alignment, and ASEAN regional exchanges.

Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, shared insights on recent economic and trade collaboration with ASEAN nations. Dr. Choi pointed out that ASEAN, as one of the important engines of global economic growth, boasts a population of over 650 million, with a high proportion of young people, providing sustained momentum for economic growth. The ASEAN region not only possesses limitless market potential but has also built a solid foundation in areas such as manufacturing and resource development. Expanding into the ASEAN market can provide new development space and opportunities for Guangxi's SMEs, while also helping to achieve industrial synergy and supply chain optimization, realize brand global expansion, and promote better enterprise development.

Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, led a delegation of entrepreneurs from the Cambodian Oknha Association to visit the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC). The delegation attended the "Cambodia-Greater Bay Area High-Quality Development and Cooperation Seminar" during their trip to Hong Kong for the 10th Belt and Road Summit.
