On the morning of May 28, 2026, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and Chairman of Hong Kong's Sunwah Group, led a delegation of Chinese enterprises to visit the People's Committee of Hanoi. During the visit, he held a working meeting with Vice Chairman Đỗ Anh Tuấn, focusing on topics such as technological innovation, industrial investment, smart city development, green transportation, and talent cooperation.

On the morning of May 29, 2026, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and Chairman of Hong Kong’s Sunwah Group, was invited to a breakfast meeting with French Ambassador to Vietnam Olivier Brochet and Deputy Ambassador Rémi Noyon. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on promoting cooperation between Vietnam and France in the fields of economy, trade, humanities, education, culture, and the arts.

The conference was attended by Dr. Jonathan Choi, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and Chairman of Sunwah Group; Mr. Hồ Sỹ Hùng, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Ms. Elsa Hung, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore; and over 160 representatives from Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises and industry organizations.

The delegation held meetings with Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam Vũ Hải Quân(武海军), Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyễn Thị Bích Ngọc(阮氏碧玉), Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thị Thắng(范氏胜), and Deputy Minister of Health PGS.TS Nguyễn Tri Thức(阮志识).
