On the morning of February 22, Mr. Jesse Choi, Executive Vice Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and Regional Director of Sunwah Group (ASEAN), visited the China-Asean Expo Secretariat with the delegation. They held discussions with Secretary-General Wei Zhaohui and signed the "Memorandum on Friendly Cooperation in Supporting Business Associations under the China-Asean Expo".

On January 10, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC), the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, received a delegation led by Mr. NHIM Khemara, Secretary of State (Vice-Ministerial level) of the Cambodian Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, and Ms. Ly Sokunthea, Consul General of Cambodia in Hong Kong, at the CGCC. They held discussions on potential cooperation in Cambodia's industrial and technological innovation, as well as collaboration opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises and handicraft industries.

The first council meeting of the sixth China Overseas Friendship Association was held in Beijing on November 18. Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Sunwah Group, was elected as the Vice President during the conference.
