ReturnOn August 11, Dr. Jonathan Choi, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC, Chairman of the Alliance, and Chairman of the Hong Kong Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, led a business delegation to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for exchanges. The delegation met with local political and business leaders and attended the flagship forum "Think Business, Think Hong Kong" organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), joining over a thousand political and business leaders from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Malaysia to discuss cooperation.
The delegation subsequently visited the Kuala Lumpur Chapter of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance for exchanges, sharing views on topics such as the ASEAN investment environment and industrial cooperation opportunities. The following morning, Dr. Choi and his delegation visited the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) for discussions on digital economy cooperation, artificial intelligence, data centers, and computing infrastructure. On the afternoon of August 12, the delegation paid a visit to the Malaysian Chinese Chamber of Commerce (MCCC).
