On November 20, 2025, at the invitation of the Yunnan Provincial Committee and the Provincial People's Government, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC), led a delegation of over 100 entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and Macao to attend the 2025 Yunnan-HK-Macao Entrepreneurs Forum in Yunnan. The delegation specially invited Mrs. Carrie Lam, the fifth-term Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to participate in related activities as the Honorary Leader.
Mr. Wang Yubo, Deputy Secretary of the Yunnan Provincial Committee and Governor, met with Dr. Jonathan Choi and other representatives of Hong Kong and Macao entrepreneurs. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation between Yunnan, Hong Kong and Macao across multiple fields.
