On May 15, Mr.Wang Kai, Governor of Henan, led a delegation to visit the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC) and exchanged views with Dr. Choi, Chairman of the CGCC and Sunwah Group, on promoting the deepening cooperation between Henan and HK.

From 6 May to 13, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the CGCC, the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union and Sunwah Group, led a delegation to the Middle East for an 8-day visit. Dr.Choi visited Kuwait, Qatar and the Gulf of the United Arab Emirates respectively to exchange views with local political and business circles, explore ways to strengthen the commercial and economic ties between HK and the Middle East and deepen cooperation opportunities in the GBA, the Middle East and the Belt and Road.

From 30 April to 3 May, Dr. Jonathan Choi led a delegation to Laos, where he called on His Excellency Bounnhang Vorachit, former President of Laos, and His Excellency Song Sai Siphandone, Prime Minister of Laos. It is hoped that through the efforts of the business community, close cooperation between China and Laos, Laos and Cambodia, and Laos and Vietnam will be promoted.

On April 26, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance, met separately with Finnish Ambassador to China Leena-kaisa Mikkola and Polish Ambassador to China Wojciech Zajączkowski. They discussed youth innovation, cooperation in the GBA, economic and trade cooperation, and international exchanges.
