Dr. Jonathan Choi Leads Delegation to Vietnam, Holds Working Meetings with Ministries of Science, Finance, Industry, and Health.

On May 25, 2026, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, Chairman of the Alliance, led a delegation of senior Chinese entrepreneurs to Hanoi. The delegation held meetings with Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam Vũ Hải Quân(武海军), Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyễn Thị Bích Ngọc(阮氏碧玉), Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thị Thắng(范氏胜), and Deputy Minister of Health PGS.TS Nguyễn Tri Thức(阮志识).


Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam Vũ Hải Quân(武海军) highly commended Jonathan Choi for his long-term contributions in promoting economic, trade, technological, and educational cooperation between Vietnam and China.

The meetings focused on high-tech innovation, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, green economy, modern healthcare, biotechnology, and key investment areas. Discussions also explored deepening industrial chain collaboration between China and Vietnam, as well as Vietnam's efforts to establish an international financial center.

The delegation comprised nearly 80 members from key economic regions of China, including the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Sichuan-Chongqing region, and the Yangtze River Delta. The group represented over 50 enterprises and institutions spanning traditional manufacturing, new materials, new energy, artificial intelligence, data centers, biomedicine, and medical technology.
