Dr. Jonathan Choi holds talks with Chinese Ambassador to Hungary Gong Tao.

Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Chairman of the Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, President of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) in Hong Kong and Chairman of Sunwah Group, recently held talks with Chinese Ambassador to Hungary Gong Tao during the latter's visit to the CGCC.

On December 14, 2025, Guo Wenhai, Secretary of the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee, and Mayor Yin Nianhong met with a delegation led by Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, President of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong), and Chairman of the Sunwah Group. The two sides held in-depth discussions on further enhancing cooperation.

On December 19, 2025, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Hu Duc Phuc visited Hong Kong. After meeting with Chief Executive John Lee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, he specially arranged a meeting with Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of the Hong Kong-Guangdong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, Chairman of Hong Kong's Sunwah Group, and Chairman of Vina Capital Investment Fund.

The two sides exchanged views on the Ho Chi Minh City International Financial Centre, green finance, digital assets, and other topics.
