Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, shared insights on recent economic and trade collaboration with ASEAN nations. Dr. Choi pointed out that ASEAN, as one of the important engines of global economic growth, boasts a population of over 650 million, with a high proportion of young people, providing sustained momentum for economic growth. The ASEAN region not only possesses limitless market potential but has also built a solid foundation in areas such as manufacturing and resource development. Expanding into the ASEAN market can provide new development space and opportunities for Guangxi's SMEs, while also helping to achieve industrial synergy and supply chain optimization, realize brand global expansion, and promote better enterprise development.
Mr. Jesse Choi, Executive Vice Chairman of the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance and President of its Vietnam Chapter, as well as Regional Director of Sunwah Group (ASEAN), presented the Alliance's achievements in Vietnam and outlined Sunwah's strategic plans for ASEAN expansion.
Representatives from the Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Middle East (UAE) Chapters of the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance introduced global expansion business opportunities, as well as the local business environments and investment policies in their respective regions to the attending enterprises.
During the conference, the Guangxi Chapter was inaugurated and witnessed the signing of multiple cooperation agreements. These included:A strategic cooperation agreement among Nanning Municipal Government, the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance, and Sunwah Group; A strategic cooperation agreement among Guangxi Tourism Development Group, Sunwah Group, and Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine; A cooperation agreement signed between the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance and Guangxi-GBA Overseas Chinese Cooperation Promotion Association; A cooperation agreement signed between Guangxi Nanbo International Convention & Exhibition Co., Ltd., the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance, and the Guangxi-GBA Overseas Chinese Cooperation Promotion Association.
